Cooper Companies Inc (COO US, +1, 17-Dec-25)
Albert White (President & CEO, joined 2006) bought 10,000 shares on December 16th at $80.80, increasing his holdings by 4% to $19.3 million. He has an excellent record as a buyer, and his recent sales (Sept. 2024 at $110 and March 2021 at $97) have been timely.
Also on the 16th, Holly Sheffield (President, CSI) spent $100,000 at $80.75. Her prior buys in mid-2020 at $70 proved to be very timely as the stock rose to $110 in 2021.
We ranked this stock +N on September 8th based on purchases by Albert White, Brian Andrews (CFO), Daniel McBride (COO), and Gerard Warner (President, CooperVision) at around $68 per share. The stock was at a multi-year low at the time, and this was the first insider buying since 2020, and reversals from selling at higher prices, for all of the buyers.
The stock has moved higher since that cluster of buying, and it is interesting to see additional buying at a higher price point.
We are upgrading the stock further, from +N (notable and positive signal) to +1 (strongly positive signal).
