$REZI.US Ranked Positive On May 28th, 2025

Resideo Technologies Inc (REZI US, +1, 28-May-25)

Andrew Teich (Chair since 2024, joined 2018) purchased just over $1 million worth of stock on May 22nd at $20.20, boosting his stake by 20%. This follows a $350,000 purchase in February at $19.29 per share. It’s encouraging to see him making a purchase now – this is the largest of his five prior buys and the highest price he has ever paid for shares. His record as a buyer has been good.

We previously ranked the stock based on his purchases as a part of a cluster in June 2020, when he bought $500,000 at $8.51. The ranking performed well.

Currently, Teich serves as a director at Sensata Technologies Holdings PLC, and he has held various executive management roles, including CEO, at FLIR Systems, Inc., between 1999 and 2017. Notably, he has never bought shares in either company.

CD&R has two director representatives (Sleeper and Stroup, both of whom have been Directors since June 2024) and purchased $100 million of stock on May 9th. The purchase was slightly below market price and made through UBS. They now own an estimated 24.2m shares (15% of the company, including Convertible Pfd holdings) and joined with the Snap One acquisition ($1.4B in June 2024). On May 6th, the company released its Q1 report.

We are ranking the stock +1 (strongly positive signal).
